Goose Studio France

Having learnt to play a few chords on your chosen instrument it is a natural progression to want to play in a band, write a song or do both. After that some form of recording usually takes place. Our studio is a well equipped professional studio that combines the best of digital and analogue equipment. The studio consists of a good sized control room and a separate live room. Accommodation complete with kitchen and bathroom completes the purposely renovated French Grange.

Recording can be quite a stressful experience and often artists have expectations that far outweigh the time they have booked. There are also numerous ways to begin the recording of a new track. Chris will guide you through this process and have conversations with you and/or the band and form a plan prior to recording.

Although the studio is located in France there are many advantages to coming and recording with us if you live outside of the country. The biggest of which is that the location allows for complete focus on the job at hand as well as providing an excellent sense of well being and mindfulness. Distractions are far away and the environment lends itself to creativity. As well as equipment in the control room we also have guitar and bass amps as well as a TAMA SLP studio kit and Korg synths. So if your band wanted to record you literally only need to arrive with your own guitars. With cheap flights available the prospect of some Rock ‘n’ Roll residential recording is well within reach although please refrain from driving your Rolls Royce into the pool.
